This workshop will provide an overview of key distribution components required to launch a pharmaceutical product into the US supply chain. This discussion will assist emerging manufacturers in understand the key components and corresponding market participants required to get product from the point of completed manufacturing through to the patient.
During this workshop you will learn:
• What are the steps required to set up a manufacturers trade channels and what services do the different potential stakeholders provide?
• How does an emerging manufacturer determine the “right” distribution model for their product?
• What are the primary distribution models in the US and what would be considered “emerging models”?
• How far in advance should a manufacturer be considering their channel strategy?
• In addition to distribution what other activities must be completed in order to ship product into all the individual US states?
• How will FDA required REMS programs impact a manufacturer’s distribution decision?
