Dan Steiber is currently a Principal at D2 Pharma Consulting, LLC. He is directly responsible for commercial operations and trade development. Specific services include supply chain strategy development, 3PL selection, trade development, regulatory oversight and “operationalising” pharmaceutical organizations. Previously, Dan founded Genesis Pharma Consultants, which was focused on providing similar services to his current duties.
Prior to consulting, Mr. Steiber served as Executive Vice President-General Manager for Integrated Commercialization Solutions (ICS) for the AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group, a Third Party Logistics and Clinical Services provider, which also includes specialty products. Dan also held a variety of senior management positions with AmerisourceBergen/Bergen, including oversight of all manufacturer relationships. Dan also had a similar role for ten plus years at Longs Drug Stores. Over the course of his 35-year pharmacy career, Dan has served as a practicing pharmacist, pharmacy manager and sales representative (Lilly).
Mr. Steiber is a licensed pharmacist in Texas, Washington, California, and Pennsylvania. His professional affiliations include the Editorial Board of Pharmaceutical Commerce, The Pharmacist’s Letter and membership in the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), NACDS and the HDMA (recipient of the “2000 Innovation for Success” Award).
Mr. Steiber received a double BS, in Pharmacy and Physical Science, from Washington State University – College of Pharmacy. He has participated in a variety of post-graduate programs in law and business development/marketing at Harvard and Northwestern.
